Biography
Flummox is an American experimental rock band from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Formed in 2012 by musicians Alyson Blake Dellinger and Drew Jones, the group took its name from a creature in the Dr. Seuss book If I Ran the Circus. The ensemble released its debut EP, The Mindrape.P., in 2012. Their recording history included the studio albums Phlummoxygen (2014) and Selcouth (2016), both issued through the label Tridroid Records. In 2019, the group signed with Needlejuice Records and released the studio recording Intellectual Hooliganism. The band subsequently issued the EPs Sabbat Worship (2020) and In Hindsight (2020), as well as the studio album Rephlummoxed (2022). In 2023, the ensemble released the recording Live at Hop Springs. Their later recording history featured the studio album Southern Progress (2025). During its career, the group has performed on tours with acts including Mac Sabbath and Descartes A Kant.
