John Erik Kaada, known professionally as Kaada, was born on July 28, 1975, in Norway and is recognized for his roles as a composer, singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Kaada's debut album, Thank You for Giving Me Your Valuable Time, was released in 2001. The album was named one of the ten most important releases of the year by Billboard. In 2004, Kaada collaborated with Mike Patton on the critically acclaimed album Romances. Throughout his career, Kaada has released several notable albums including Music for Moviebikers (2006), Junkyard Nostalgias (2009), and Bacteria Cult (2016). He has also composed film scores for various domestic and international productions, earning numerous awards such as the Amanda Awards in 2002 and the Kanon Awards in 2007.
