Flag of Democracy is an American hardcore punk band from Ambler, Pennsylvania, formed in 1982. They played their first show in 1982 opening for Minor Threat, Agnostic Front, and SS Decontrol. They released the debut EP Love Songs (1984). They embarked on international tours throughout the 1980s and 1990s, releasing several full-length albums including Shatter Your Day (1986), 23 (1988), Down With People (1990), Schneller! (1993), Hate Rock (1994), Everything Sucks (1996), FOD World (2000), Home Lobotomy Kit (2010), and No School, No Core (2018). In 2007, they celebrated their 25th anniversary with a show at the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia. In 2015, SRA Records remastered and reissued several of their albums for Record Store Day.
