Biography
Fishboy, an American indie pop band from Denton, Texas, began as a solo project of Eric Michener. The band released their debut album Zipbangboom in 2003 through Business Deal Records. Their second album, Little D, was named to a Best Local of 2005 list by the Dallas Morning News. In 2007, Fishboy released Albatross: How We Failed To Save The Lone Star State With The Power Of Rock And Roll through Happy Happy Birthday To Me Records. The band continued with releases such as Classic Creeps in 2011 and An Elephant, a rock opera and graphic novel released in 2014. In 2017, they released Art Guards on Lauren Records. Notable singles include "Happy Happy Birthday To Me 2007 Singles Club #1" and "IMAVOLCANO".
