Biography

Fire in the Attic, a German post-hardcore band, was founded in October 2003 in Bonn, consisting of singer Ole Feltes, guitarists Richard Meyer and Daniel Crebelli, bassist Dennis Meyer, and drummer Daniel Plotzki. The group released their first EP, Decision & Action, in May 2004 and opened for bands like Billy Talent and Coheed and Cambria that year. Their debut album, Crash/Rebuild, followed in April 2005 on Redfield Records. In June 2006, Fire in the Attic released their second studio album, I'll Beat You, City! and toured with Alexisonfire and Moneen. The band's third album, Cum Grano Salis, was released on April 18, 2008, and sold over 87,000 copies. In August 2008, singer Ole Feltes left the band and was replaced by British singer Thomas Prescott of Kenai. The band's fourth self-titled studio album was released in March 2009 on Redfield Records. Fire in the Attic paused their activities since 2009.
