Biography
Fie Laursen is a well-known Danish blogger who has capitalised on her online celebrity and released a series of singles. The most popular of her singles has been 'Justin', a track which has accrued more than three million views since Laursen uploaded it to YouTube. Her musical style of electronically-enhanced vocals overlaid onto formulaic hip-hop backing tracks has proved to be popular amongst her legions of Internet followers.
She was brought up in the town of Jægerspris and emerged into the public eye in 2012 after appearing on TV to discuss bullying issues she suffered growing up. Laursen went on to write a blog about her experiences which proved extremely popular with Danish teenagers but has since revealed a number of the stories she wrote were fabricated. Despite the revelations Laursen has since gone on to receive a number of social media awards which has boosted her popularity even further. The artist is now seeking to broaden her audience appeal by appearing on reality TV shows.
