Biography
Natanael Cesário dos Santos, professionally known as Nattan or Nattanzinho, was born on August 18, 1998, in Sobral, Ceará, and raised in Tianguá. His interest in music developed through the local Mormon church, and after receiving a guitar from his grandmother, he taught himself to play with online tutorials. By his early teens he was already performing in local bars, eventually helping to pay for his own schooling through music. Nattan began reaching a wider audience in 2019 with "Era Eu," recorded with Ãvine Vinny, before establishing a style built around electronic forró, piseiro, romantic songs, and pop influences. Early releases such as "Storiezin" and "Não Te Quero," an adaptation of Bryan Adams' "Heaven," were followed by collaborations with artists including Mari Fernandez, Saia Rodada, Felipe Amorim, and mentor Xand Avião. He scored major Brazilian hits with "Comunicação Falhou" and "Tem Cabaré Essa Noite," while his albums included Pra Beber, Curtir e Amar (2020), Vamos Dar Play no Nathanzinho (2021), Pelado (2022), and the live project O Fantástico Mundo de Nattan (2022). In 2023, he launched the touring event Desmanttelo do Nattan and released material including Pra Quebrar a Cara, while also appearing on Dança dos Famosos. His 2024 live album Estilo Nattanzinho â Ao Vivo em São Paulo included collaborations with Melody and Ana Castela, and "Amor na Praia," his adaptation of YG Marley's "Praise Jah in the Moonlight," became one of his biggest hits. That year he also signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Believe Music. Nattan returned with Imparável in 2025 and appeared for the first time on Globo's Fantástico, while "Pela Ãltima Vez," recorded with Grupo Menos à Mais, became another major hit. In 2026, he expanded his sound and profile with Nattan in Vegas, featuring Anitta on "Eu Tô Querendo De Novo" and Zé Felipe on "Homem à Homem, Moleque à Moleque," and joined Menos à Mais for the Na Farra tour. He then returned to his northeastern roots with Paredão do Nattan (Ao Vivo em Fortaleza), featuring Wesley Safadão, Xand Avião, Zé Vaqueiro, Rey Vaqueiro, Eduardo Costa, and Edson Lima. The Felipe Amorim collaboration "Maria Vaqueiro" followed and was voted the hit of São João 2026 in a public poll organized by Sua Música.
