Fear of Men, a British band from Brighton, was formed in early 2011 by Jessica Weiss and Daniel Falvey, with drummer Michael Miles joining them in 2012. The duo initially collaborated on soundtracks for Weiss's art school films before transitioning into a full-fledged band. Their first release, the four-track cassette "Hannah Schygulla Demos", came out in March 2011. In August of the same year, they released their debut single "Ritual Confession" on Italian Beach Babes label. The following year saw the release of two more singles: "Green Sea" and "Mosaic". In February 2013, Kanine Records compiled their early recordings into Early Fragments. Their debut LP, Loom, was released in May 2014 through Kanine Records and received critical acclaim. The band toured extensively to support the album. In 2016, Fear of Men released their second album Fall Forever.
