Fana Subira Hughes, known professionally as Fana Hues, is an American R&B singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born on June 15, 1995, in Pasadena, California. Raised in a musical family, Hues initially struggled with singing due to health issues but eventually found her voice through practice and familial support. She began her career performing with her family's band before releasing her debut single "Notice Me" in 2020, followed by her album Hues (2021). Her breakthrough came in 2021 when she was featured on Tyler, The Creator's song "Sweet / I Thought You Wanted to Dance". Hues released her second studio album, Flora + Fana, in 2023. She has toured extensively with artists such as Raveena and Lucky Daye. Her third album, Moth, was released on 2024, followed by the Matters of the Heart tour in 2025.
