Biography
Factory Star, an English post-punk group, was formed in Manchester in December 2008 by Martin Bramah. The initial lineup included Tim Lyons on bass and Brian Benson on drums. In April 2009, the band underwent a significant change with Steve Hanley taking over on bass, Paul Hanley on drums, and John Paul Moran joining as keyboardist. Their first single, "Lucybel", was released in 2011. The band's debut album, Enter Castle Perilous, was recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool and released in 2011 under Occultation Records. Following the departure of Tom Lewis, Joe McKechnie joined on drums in January 2012. The group has continued to perform and record, with their second album, New Sacral, in 2012.
