Biography
FACT was a Japanese post-hardcore band formed in December 1999 in Ibaraki Prefecture. The group initially comprised Tomohiro Takayasu on bass and vocals, Kazuki Sakurai on rhythm guitar, and Takahiro on lead guitar. They released the album Never Turn Out the Light to Keep Myself in 2006 on Bullion Records. In 2009, they signed with Vagrant Records for their worldwide debut album, FACT, which included the single "A Fact of Life". The band toured extensively alongside notable acts such as A Skylit Drive and Senses Fail. Their third album, In the Blink of an Eye, debuted at number 6 on the Japanese Oricon weekly charts in 2010. The band disbanded in November 2015 following the release of their final album, KTHEAT.
