Biography
Nicodimas Sekheta Mogashoa, known professionally as Da Capo, was born i 1992, in Seshego, South Africa. He started his musical career as a rapper before transitioning to house music and becoming a DJ and record producer. His breakthrough came after remixing the single "Pretty Disaster" by Moneoa, leading to a recording deal with Soulstic Music. Da Capo released his debut album Indigo Child in 2017, which was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) and garnered over 36.5 million streams on digital platforms. In May 2020, he established his independent record label Genesys Entity and released the EP Genesys. Notable releases include "Light House" featuring Sun-El Musician in September 2021 and the single "Molili" from the Bakone EP in June 2023.
