Biography
Ersen ve DadaÅlar, a Turkish rock band formed in 1972, was created by Ersen Dinleten. Initially known as KardaÅlar, they later changed their name to Ersen ve KardaÅları before settling on Ersen ve DadaÅlar. Their sound blended classic psychedelic rock with traditional Turkish folk music and their debut album Dünden bugüne was released in 1977, marking a significant milestone in the Turkish psychedelic rock scene. Throughout the 1980s, Ersen ve DadaÅlar continued to release albums such as Hatamızı Bilmeden Ãekiyoruz (1980), Anadolu Pop (1983), and Vatan Bizim, Ãlke Bizim, El Bizim (1985). Notable subsequent releases include Ersen ve DadaÅlar 88 (1988), PaÅa Gönlün Bilir (1992), Ersen Mevlana Gibi (2002), Dönemem... (2003), and Alüvyon (2011).
