Biography
Erik Norlander, born on July 26, 1967, in Los Angeles, California, is an American keyboard player. His earliest releases were with his band Rocket Scientists starting in 1993. In November 2007, he was announced as the keyboard player for Asia Featuring John Payne, a spin-off of the progressive rock band Asia. He also collaborated extensively with Lana Lane, his wife, on multiple albums including Love Is an Illusion (1995) and Curious Goods (1996). Norlander's solo career included notable releases such as Threshold (1997), Into the Sunset (2000), Music Machine (2003), and Surreal (2016). He was involved in various projects, including Roswell Six with science fiction writer Kevin J. Anderson, and toured with Joe Lynn Turner and Big Noize. In 2016, he joined the heavy metal band Last in Line as their touring keyboardist.
