Energy is a Taiwanese boy band that emerged in 2002 with five members: Milk, Ady, Toro, Kunda, and Shuwei. Debuting with a unique Rapcore sound that was uncommon in the Taiwanese Mandopop scene, they gained attention with the up-tempo track "Let Go" (æ¾æ), and sentimental ballads "Love Me for Another Day" (å¤ç±æä¸å¤©) and "One Day" (æå¹´æææä¸å¤©). In the same year, they released their first studio album, Energy! Come On!, which featured a cover of Shinhwa's song "Come On." Following on from this success, they released albums Invincible and E3 in 2003, the latter featuring the single "Capturing Evil" (ééé). After Toro's departure, the group released the Greatest Hits collection Energy 4 Ever, which contained new tracks and mash-ups of their previous singles. Their 2005 album, FINAL FANTASY (æå¾çæ¨å), featured moderately successful singles like "Heaven and Earth" (天èå°) and "Taste of Tears" (ç¼æ·çå³é). After Milk left the group shortly after to pursue a solo career, the remaining members released New Generation (ç©äººç±») in 2006. Their 2007 album, Born To Be Bad (天çå骨), received positive reviews, especially for the title track, however despite this success, the group announced their hiatus in 2009. On April 2, 2023, Energy reunited as special guests during Mayday's concert tour and after much fan speculation, made their return to the music scene on January 1, 2024, with all five original members, re-releasing their 2002 hit song "Let Go" (復åç Reunion version), which reached number 26 on the Top 50 Mandarin Singles chart.
