Biography
Gabriel Hélie-Harvey, known professionally as Elliot Maginot, is a Quebec-based singer-songwriter born in Canada. Early in his career, Maginot performed as an opening act for artists such as Franklin Electric and Les SÅurs Boulay. His debut album, Young/Old/Everything.In.Between, was released on November 20, 2014. In 2015, he released his self-titled EP, Elliot Maginot. Following this, Maginot released two more albums: Comrades (November 2, 2018) and Easy Morning (May 28, 2021). The latter was nominated for the Prix de musique Polaris in 2021 and received a nomination for Anglophone Album of the Year at the 44th Félix Awards in 2022. Maginot released Christmas-themed songs including "Christmas Ainât Enough" (2018) and "The Ballad of Mrs. Claus" (2021). In 2023, he released a cover of the song "Marie-Noël".
