Biography

Matt Holubowski, born on May 9, 1988 in Hudson, Quebec, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He began his musical journey at age 17, teaching himself to play guitar. In July 2014, Holubowski released his debut album Old Man under the pseudonym Ogen. His breakthrough came with a performance at the Festival international de jazz de Montréal, leading to a contract with Audiogram in September 2015. In September 2016, Holubowski released his second album Solitudes, which topped iTunes Canada's chart in October 2016 and won the Prix Espoir FEQ in June 2016. His subsequent albums include Weird Ones (February 2020) and Like Flowers on a Molten Lawn (March 2023), which earned him the Félix for Album anglophone de l'année at the Gala de l'ADISQ in 2023.
