Elizabeth Parker is a British composer known for her work in film and television. She studied music at the University of East Anglia and later completed a master's degree in electronic music. Parker began her career at the BBC, initially training to become a studio manager before joining the BBC Radiophonic Workshop in 1978. During her tenure, she contributed to various BBC productions, including providing special sound for the science fiction series Blake's 7 and David Attenboroughâs documentary series The Living Planet, with an LP of her score released in 1984. Parker's contributions to Doctor Who included special sound effects for The Stones of Blood (1978) and the incidental score for Timelash (1985). After the workshop closed in 1998, she established her own studio and continued working as a freelance composer.
