Biography
Maurizio Colella, born 2 November 1976 in Zürich, Switzerland, is a Swiss DJ and producer known professionally as EDX. He began producing in the midâ1990s, releasing early mixtapes for the Tarot nightclub and later for Oxa Club, where he served as a resident. EDXâs breakthrough came with the 2000 single "Gonna Catch You" with Leon Klein, followed by a series of remixes for artists such as Kool & The Gang and Armand Van Helden. In 2012, he issued his debut album, On the Edge, which was later reissued in a remixed version in 2014. Subsequent releases include the EPs Collateral Effects (2014), Bloom (2017), and Ubuntu (2019). Throughout his career, he has collaborated with international acts such as Armin van Buuren and Sam Feldt, and has released tracks through Spinninâ Records and Sirup Music.
