Biography

El Gran Eclipse is a Chilean cumbia ranchera group whose first releases started rolling out in 2024 with singles including “Infieles,” “Latidos,” “Si Fuera Tan Fácil,” “Que Onda Perdida,” and “Que Seas Feliz,” setting their lane around romantic, dancefloor-ready ranchera phrasing over cumbia swing. In 2025, they increased their output with both standalone tracks and longer party-format cuts such as “Simplemente Amigos,” “Mix (Homenaje Ranchero),” and “megamix bailable (En vivo),” then followed with a dense string of singles including “No sufrire por nadie,” “Madita sea la primera vez,” “Me marea,” and “Cuerpo de sirena.” The year’s key title was “Así Fue,” which became their best-known song, and they also released “Fue tan poco tu cariño” featuring PASIÓN MORENA CHILE. Through the rest of 2025, the band kept building the catalog with tracks like “Corazón de Piedra,” “Una Rosa Para Ti,” “Cervecita Blanca,” “Siempre pierdo en el amor,” and “A traves del vaso,” maintaining a steady release rhythm typical of Chile’s live-forward tropical ranchera circuit.
