Dubioza Kolektiv, a Bosnian band formed in 2003 by Adis ZvekiÄ, Almir HasanbegoviÄ, Brano JakuboviÄ, and Vedran MujagiÄ, is known for blending reggae, dub, hip-hop, ska, rock, and Bosnian folklore. Their debut album, Dubioza kolektiv, was released in 2004 by Gramofon Records. The band's innovative sound and politically charged lyrics gained them regional recognition with subsequent releases like Open Wide (EP) in the same year and Dubnamite in 2006. In 2011, Dubioza Kolektiv signed with Koolarrow Records, releasing Wild Wild East, which featured songs primarily in English and won The Best Adria Act at the MTV European Music Awards. Their album Apsurdistan (2013) saw significant success, with over 300,000 downloads and the music video for "Kazu" garnering 37 million views on YouTube.
