Biography

Drive Like Jehu was an American post-hardcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 1990 by rhythm guitarist and vocalist Rick Froberg and lead guitarist John Reis, along with bassist Mike Kennedy and drummer Mark Trombino, the group released their eponymous debut album Drive Like Jehu through Cargo Music and Headhunter Records in 1991. In 1992, they released the single "Hand Over Fist" / "Bullet Train to Vegas". Drive Like Jehu signed with Interscope Records and released their second album, Yank Crime, in April 1994. The band disbanded in 1995. After their breakup, members pursued various projects: Reis continued with Rocket from the Crypt, Trombino became a record producer, and Froberg moved into visual arts. Drive Like Jehu reunited briefly from 2014 to 2016.
