DovIvI is a South Korean female Utaite and YouTube singer who made her debut on January 24, 2021, by posting a cover of "Even If Itâs Called Your Happiness (ê·¸ê²ì´ ë¹ì ì íë³µì´ë¼ í ì§ë¼ë)". Her stage name, DovIvI, originates from a dream in which she saw a blank book with only the word "Dovivi" written inside. She later chose it as her alias due to its gender-neutral sound. Primarily covering J-POP songs, she does not speak Japanese but uses machine translation tools like Papago to create her own adapted lyrics. Known for her versatile voice, she excels in both powerful and delicate songs, seamlessly adapting to various genres. While she mainly uploads short-form covers, many fans express a desire for full-length versions of her performances. On December 28, 2024, she released her mini album Matryoshka, featuring the title track of the same name and other songs like "Best Excuse".
