Doppelbock, a German rock band from Gründau, was formed in 2014 by brothers Bruno and Klaus Kalkowski, Marco Czerny, and Johannes Köcher. Doppelbock released their first EP, Von Gott geschickt â Vom Teufel getrieben, in 2016 at the Analoghaus studio in Karben. In 2018, they recorded their second EP, 7 dreiste Geschichten, at Marburg Records. Johannes Köcher left the band in 2019 and was replaced by Tom Wegmann. The following year, Doppelbock won the "Bester Rocksänger" category at the Deutscher Rock & Pop Preis. In 2021, they released their debut album, So schön, under Metalville. The band expanded in 2023 with Daniel Schäfer on bass and Benjamin Bilo as a backing vocalist.
