Biography

Doppelbock, a German rock band from GrÃ¼ndau, was formed in 2014 by brothers Bruno and Klaus Kalkowski, Marco Czerny, and Johannes KÃ¶cher. Doppelbock released their first EP, Von Gott geschickt â Vom Teufel getrieben, in 2016 at the Analoghaus studio in Karben. In 2018, they recorded their second EP, 7 dreiste Geschichten, at Marburg Records. Johannes KÃ¶cher left the band in 2019 and was replaced by Tom Wegmann. The following year, Doppelbock won the "Bester RocksÃ¤nger" category at the Deutscher Rock & Pop Preis. In 2021, they released their debut album, So schÃ¶n, under Metalville. The band expanded in 2023 with Daniel SchÃ¤fer on bass and Benjamin Bilo as a backing vocalist.
