Drunken Masters is a German DJ and producer duo from Kempten in the Allgäu region, formed in 2010. The group consists of Johannes Gehring (born April 4, 1987) and Christopher Rabai (born June 10, 1987). Musically, Drunken Masters blend trap, hip-hop, bass music, and electronic club music. Their sets and productions are characterized by high energy, creative edits, and genre-blending. Drunken Masters first gained recognition for their remixes and high-energy live performances. They attracted significant attention in 2012 with the mixtape The DM Tape, which helped them build a growing fan base in the German club scene. This was followed by numerous productions for other artists, including Haftbefehl, Casper, and K.I.Z., among others. In 2014, they released the EP Molotov together with Eskei83 and Gunjah. The single of the same name, âMolotowâ, achieved cult status in the German club scene. Drunken Masters regularly perform at major festivals such as Splash!, Melt, and the SonneMondSterne Festival. In 2018, they released âPlacesâ, a collaboration with Trettmann and one of their best-known songs, which also features on various social media playlists. This was followed by releases such as âEveryday Fridayâ (2019), âOn My Wayâ (2020), and âLouderâ (2021). In 2023, the single âHighâ was released, a collaboration with TYM and the rapper Takt32. Most recently, in 2024, Drunken Masters released the songs âTonightâ, âBounceâ, and âUnderthekerâ (2025, featuring Niko K.I.Z). In 2026, Drunken Masters released the EP Ikkimel die Geile in collaboration with Ikkimel.
