Biography
Dominique Nicolas formed the group Indochine with Nicola Sirkis in May 1981. Guitarist and principal composer, Dominique Nicolas is also a multi-instrumentalist. In 1994, he left the group following disagreements with the other members. He now composes mainly for documentaries and commercials, as his previous projects with singers Bibi Flash (1986 and 1987), Susan George B and Arielle (1989) were never successful. In 2013, he took part in Noël Matteï's first EP, where he played all the instruments. Together, they cover Taxi Girl's "Les Armées de la nuit" on the tribute album to Daniel Darc (2013). His first solo album, La Beauté de l'Idée, was released in 2015 under the name Dominik Nicolas.
