Dominique Le Duff, known as Dom DufF, was born on August 20, 1960, in Plouescat, France. Raised speaking Breton and French, he began playing guitar at adolescence, influenced by rock bands like Led Zeppelin and The Clash. After working as a professor and technician for 15 years, he founded the group Diwall in 1996. His solo career started in 2000 with his first album, Straed An Amann, released in 2003, featuring collaborations with Rónán à Snodaigh of KÃla and Andy Jones from Boys From The Hills. His second album, Lagan (2005), expanded his repertoire to include Gaelic and English lyrics. Dom DufF's third album E-unan (2008), recorded live, won the Prizioù for Best Breton Album 2009.
