Biography
The Storyteller, a Swedish power metal band formed in 1995, originated from Gävle, Gävleborg County. The band's early years saw significant lineup changes, with members such as Joakim Lundström and Magnus Björk contributing to their initial demos, including 1995 Demo and 1996 Demo. Their album, The Storyteller, was released in 2000. The band continued to release albums, including Crossroad (2001), Tales of a Holy Quest (2003), and Underworld (2005). They released their mini-album Seed of Lies in 2004, followed by Underworld (2005), after which the band went on hiatus from 2006 to 2011. Upon their return, they released Dark Legacy (2013) and Sacred Fire (2014), showcasing their enduring presence in the power metal genre. After signing with The Circle Music in 2024, The Storyteller released its seventh studio album, The Final Stand, in 2025.
