Biography
Beissoul & Einius, a Lithuanian electronic music duo from Vilnius, was formed in 2011 by Artūras Žabas-Beissoul and Einius Jarutis-Einius, and were known for their eccentric outfits and mirrored sunglasses. Their music, self-described as "electrofashion," blended electronic beats with pop vocals. The duo gained initial recognition by participating in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 with "Why", reaching the finale. Their debut album Laikas Paikas was released in March 2014, featuring the hit single "Kaip tu ir sakei". Subsequent releases include Chamillion (2015), #Asecretcontract (2017), White Crow (2019), and Questions in the Dark (2020). Beissoul & Einius won the MAMA Award for Best Electronic Music Band in 2015 and 2020.
