Biography

DJ Technorch, born Yutaka Yamashita on March 3, 1984, in Tokyo, is a Japanese electronic music producer and DJ. His work encompasses techno hardcore, gabber, speedcore, and makina. Technorch began his career in 2003 as a founding member of the group HARDCORE TANO*C. In 2005, he released the debut album Gothic System 〜Trancecore meets Gabber〜 on the label Hardcore Technique. He joined the United States-based breakcore label Cock Rock Disco in 2007 and began contributing tracks to the Konami game series beatmania IIDX the same year. His discography includes the albums Boss On Parade 〜XXX meets GABBA〜 (2007) and I Wanna Be a Happy (2012). Technorch authored the 2008 book 読む音楽 and has incorporated Vocaloid technology into his recordings, such as the song “一二三一二三のみくみくにしてあげる♪”. He performed at the EXIT TUNES DANCE PARTY in 2016 and 2017.
