Professionally known as Pyrex, Dylan Thomas Cerulli, born 2 May 1994 in Lazio, Rome, is an Italian rapper and songwriter who emerged from the Rome trap scene. He began rapping in adolescence with peers Dark Side, Tony Effe, and Wayne Santana, forming the collective Dark Polo Gang in 2014; the group released the mixtape Full Metal Dark in 2015, gaining local attention. Pyrex’s solo career launched with the mixtape The Dark Album on 31 October 2016, followed by a series of singles that established his individual style. He signed with Island and Universal, releasing his debut solo studio album Love Is War on 11 May 2023, which peaked at Number 18 on the FIMI Albums Chart. On 13 February 2026, he released KING OF DARK, whose third track "Darkmoney" featuring Sfera Ebbasta reached Number 1 on the FIMI Singles Chart. Throughout his career, Pyrex has collaborated with artists such as Rkomi on the gold‑certified single "Per Averti" (1 September 2022). His releases have consistently charted within the top positions of the Italian market, cementing his presence in contemporary rap.
