Biography
Roel Schutrups, born June 8, 1974 in Winschoten, Netherlands, is a Dutch DJ and producer known by the stage name DJ Isaac. He entered the hardstyle scene in 1995 with the debut single âBad Dreamsâ, which sampled âWuthering Heightsâ by Kate Bush. In 1996, he released the single âI Wanna Be a Gabber Babyâ. Schutrups contributed to four tracks on the Alice Deejay album Who Needs Guitars Anyway (2000). He founded the record label X-Rate Records in 2003 and embarked on a world tour in 2005. In 2009, he established the monthly podcast Isaac's Hardstyle Sessions. His other releases include âRave Nowâ (2018) with Technoboy and âFeel So Goodâ (2023). Schutrups is active in the music scene with live performances at major festivals including Defqon.1 and Tomorrowland.
