Biography

24 Grana, an Italian musical group from Naples, was formed in 1995 by Francesco Di Bella (guitar, vocals), Armando Cotugno (bass), and Renato Minale (drums). Initially known as the Surrey Iron Railway, they changed their name to 24 Grana. Their debut EP, 24 Grana, was released in 1996. The band's career included notable releases such as albums Loop (1997), Metaversus (1999), and K-Album (2001). In 2003, they released Underpop, which featured more Italian lyrics. Armando Cotugno left the group in 2010. The band reformed with Alessandro Innaro on bass and produced La stessa barca in 2011. Francesco Di Bella announced his departure from 24 Grana in 2013 to pursue solo projects. The band reformed its original lineup in 2019 and released the single "A raccolta" in 2020.
