Biography
The Greek DJ and producer known as DJ Angelo grew up with dance music in his blood. His uncle owned a disco, and by the time Angelo was a teenager he had firmly set his sights on a career in music. A debut gig at Mamacas, the legendary Athens night club led to a four-year residency which established his name as one of the island's up-and-coming DJ talents.
He soon became associated with the Afro House sound which was being promoted to European club-goers by DJ talents such as Manoo, Atjazz and Culoe de Song. DJ Angelo was responsible for bringing the South African DJ Black Coffee to Europe and the two men developed a friendship and a business relationship which has seen them become two of the most sought-after dancefloor fillers on the European club scene.
Angelo has expanded his fan base through a series of appearances around the globe and he has played to audiences in London, New York, Dubai and many more locations.
