Biography
Friedrich Leidig, known professionally as Dave Ramone, was born in 1975 in Fürth, Germany, and began his career as a DJ in the 1990s. His early work under the name Ramone produced singles and remixes in the 2000s, collaborating with artists such as Arnold Palmer and Thomas Gold, and creating remixes for September, including the UK Radio Edit of "Cry for You". In 2011 Dave Ramone released the miniâalbum The Final (Captain Future Theme), followed by Dazed (2015), Geisha (2015), and Beautiful Life (2016). The single "Love on Repeat" featuring Minelli entered the German charts in September 2016 before being suspended for alleged chart manipulation. Throughout his career, Dave Ramone worked with DJs Antoine, Cascada, and Loona, and founded the music agency Kickson in 2014. His releases have maintained a presence in European electronic dance music circles, marking him as a consistent contributor to the genre.
