Fulano, a Chilean rock band formed in Santiago de Chile in 1984, included Jorge Campos (bass), Cristián Crisosto (saxophones and flute), Jaime Vivanco (keyboards), Willy Valenzuela (drums), Arlette Jequier (voice and clarinet), and Jaime Vásquez (saxophones and flute). The band released their self-titled debut album in 1987. Their second album, En el Bunker (1989), won the APES Prize for Contribution to Jazz and the Best Rock Group 1989 Award from Radio Concierto. Subsequent albums included El infierno de los payasos (1993) and Trabajos Inútiles (1997). After Jaime Vivanco died in 2003, Fulano released the live album Vivo in 2004. They reformed in 2009 to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Their studio album, Animal en Extinción, was released in 2015. Fulano disbanded at the end of 2015 following the release of this album.
