DJ Aqeel, born Aqeel Ali on May 21, 1977, in India, is a DJ and composer. His breakthrough came in the early 2000s with the release of the song "Shake It Daddy Mix" and the album The Daddy Mix. Throughout his career, DJ Aqeel released notable albums including The Return to the Daddy Mix and Don Remix. He also contributed remixes for popular Bollywood movies such as "Fanaa for You" from the movie Fanaa and "My Dil Goes Mmmm (English Club Mix)" from Salaam Namaste.
