Dirkschneider is a music project of the German singer Udo Dirkschneider, born on April 6, 1952 in Wuppertal. The band formed in 2016 with the aim of performing classic Accept songs live. In addition to Udo Dirkschneider, the line-up includes Sven Dirkschneider (drums), Andrey Smirnov (guitar), Fabian Dee Dammers (guitar) and Peter Baltes (bass). Musically, Dirkschneider moves in the genre of heavy metal. In 2016, the band released the live album Live - Back to the Roots, which received positive reviews. this is followed in 2025 by the album Balls To The Wall Reloaded, which reaches number 10 in the German album charts and also enters the charts in Austria (number 37) and Switzerland (number 19).
