Fernando Cyril "Dingdong" Veloso Avanzado, born on July 7, 1968 in Quezon City, Philippines, is a singer and actor. His music career began in 1987 when he appeared on The Penthouse Live! to sing "Trapped in a Stairway." He released his first album, Tatlong Beinte Singko, in 1988 under Dyna Records, which included the chart-topping singles "Maghihintay Sa Yo" and "Tatlong Beinte Singko." Avanzado's career spanned several decades. He won the Awit Awards for "Paalam Na" in 1995 and "I Will Be There For You" in 1996. Avanzado also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as Paniwalaan Mo and television shows like That's Entertainment. In 2013, he was elected Vice Governor of Siquijor.
