Zé Neto & Cristiano, one of Brazilâs most successful sertanejo duos, was formed in 2011 in São José do Rio Preto. Their rise to fame began with Ao Vivo em São José do Rio Preto (2016), featuring "Seu PolÃcia," which catapulted them onto the national scene. In 2018, they solidified their status with Esquece o Mundo Lá Fora, delivering hits like "Largado à s Traças" and "Notificação Preferida," both among the most streamed songs of the year. Over the years, the duo consistently released chart-topping albums, including Por Mais Beijos ao Vivo (2020), Chaaama (2021), and Tarja Preta (2022), showcasing their signature blend of emotional ballads and high-energy anthems. Their 2023 album Escolhas featured collaborations with Renato Teixeira, while their project Intenso (2024), recorded in Valinhos, brought together Simone Mendes, Luan Santana, Ana Castela, and Leo Santana. With multiple industry awards, including the Troféu Imprensa and a Latin Grammy nomination, Zé Neto & Cristiano have become a defining force in contemporary sertanejo. In 2025, Zé Neto & Cristiano shifted into a more acoustic and nostalgic phase with Magia das Estrelas, a project built around new songs and re-recordings tied to the duoâs roots and family-centered sertanejo identity. They released the first part of the project in 2025, then completed it in early 2026 as a full 23-track live album, led by songs such as âEscondendo o Ouro,â âResumindo,â âCâmera da Frente,â and âDubai.â The duo also kept their catalog active with live singles including âVenenoâ and âÃltimo Adeus / Avião Das Nove,â and revisited classic sertanejo material on Intenso (Ao Vivo em São Paulo), a 2025 live release credited with Gian & Giovani and Cezar & Paulinho. In April 2026, Zé Neto & Cristiano opened another audiovisual cycle with Vocês & Deus, Vol. 1 (Ao Vivo no Rio de Janeiro), recorded in Rio de Janeiro and introduced with seven new live tracks, including âCadeira Cativa,â âQuase Todo Dia,â âOi, Tudo Bem?,â and âFalta de Tchau.â
