Biography
Die Mimmi's, a German punk rock band from Bremen, was founded in 1982 by Claus Fabian, known as Fabsi, and his partner Elli after the dissolution of the Düsseldorf punk band ZK. Their name is derived from an Amsterdam nightclub called De Mimmi. Die Mimmi's released their debut single "Deutscher Meister wird der SVW" in 1982 and their first full-length album Was'n hier los? in 1984. The band gained significant attention through television appearances. Despite internal conflicts leading to their temporary disbandment at the end of 1985, Die Mimmi's reunited in 1986 and continued to release albums such as Alles zuscheiÃen (1989) and Das ist meine Welt (1991). After a period of inactivity from 1996 to 2002, Die Mimmi's reformed and released new material, including the album Ich will alles (und noch viel mehr) (2007).
