Cheikh Diaw Diop, known by his full stage name Diaw Diop Didi or Diaw Diop, began practicing music in Dakar, Senegal, in 2010. He practiced in the studio and documented his production work through videos before unveiling his first tracks, notably "We The One" (2015) with its pronounced Afropop tones. He perfected his technique through cover versions and concerts held in Senegal, then asserted his style with "Un enfant un cadeau" (2017) and above all "Luthioum luthioum" in 2018, which reached millions of listens. The singer transmits joy with his percussive track and captures the audience. Gradually, he became a real hitmaker in the Senegalese music industry, accumulating high listening figures with his numerous hits, in particular "Bibi" (2019), "Sagnsé" (2020) featuring OMG or "Wiri wiri " released in 2022.
