Diane Cluck is an American singer-songwriter raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Cluck began playing the piano at age seven and received classical training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Music. In 2000, Cluck started performing publicly in New York City and self-released a debut album, Diane Cluck (2000). Subsequent albums Macy's Day Bird (2001) and Black With Green Leaves (2002) were distributed by Important Records. Cluck wrote most of a fourth album, Oh Vanille/Ova Nil (2003), while staying at the Dorland Mountain Arts Colony in Temecula, California. Cluck collaborated with artists such as Jeffrey Lewis, CocoRosie, Toby Goodshank, and Herman Düne. In 2014, Cluck released the album Boneset (2014). Other notable releases include the albums Countless Times (2005) and Common Wealth (2020).
