Diamond Rexx, an American heavy metal and glam metal band from Chicago, Illinois, was formed in 1985 by singer Nasti Habits and guitarist S.S. Priest. Their debut album Land of the Damned was released in 1986 after signing with Island Records. In 1989, they signed to Red Light Records, and in 1990 they released the album Rated Rexx. The band went on hiatus in the 1990s but reunited in 2001 to record Rexx Erected (2001) and later released The Evil (2002). Their album, Psych Ward, was released in 2020. Guitarist Scott Davis, known as S.S. Priest, passed away due to illness in Chicago in 2024.
