Born in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on February 27, 1984, Dhibu Ninan Thomas â often referred to as DNT â is a singer, songwriter, and music director best known for his work in the Kollywood (Tamil-language cinema) industry. However, he has also worked in the Tollywood (Teluga-language cinema) and Mollywood (Malayalam-language cinema) industries as well. He became interested in music at a young age and actively pursued training in several instruments while pursuing a career in engineering. After graduating with a bachelorâs degree, he began focusing on music. His own compositions and production work attracted the interest of the Kollywood industry and made his debut as a music director for the 2017 film Maragadha Naanayam. Further projects include Kanaa (2018), Kombu Vacha Singamda (2019), Nenjuku Needhi (2021), and Bachelor (2020), which features Dhibu Ninan Thomasâ âAdiyeâ, which was streamed on social media over 14 million times in its first three weeks.
