Biography
Denise Donatelli, born in 1950 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is an American jazz vocalist. She began playing piano at age three and studied classical piano for 15 years, winning multiple competitions. After taking a hiatus to focus on family, she resumed her musical career in Atlanta, performing with Russell Malone and later joining Lyle Lovett's band. Donatelli's debut album In the Company of Friends was released in 2007, followed by What Lies Within in 2008. She has been nominated for three Grammy Awards: in 2011, 2012, and 2016.
