Weimar is a rock/rap/metal band from Germany founded in 2021. With their colorful musical style, Weimar are one of the bands of Neue Deutsche HÃ¤rte. The band themselves describe their music as indie metal. Weimar initially released their first songs via social media. The debut single "Erwartet uns!" in particular generated a lot of interest online. After further single releases, the debut album Auf Biegen & Brechen followed in 2022. Weimar immediately made it to number 2 in the German album charts. Just two years later, the band achieved their first number 1 success in the German charts with the follow-up 1331.
