December Flower, a German melodic death metal band from Diepholz, Niedersachsen, was formed in 2007 by vocalist Manuel Siewert, guitarist Michael Tybussek, and guitarist Nils Werner following the disbandment of Chronicle of Tyrants. December Flower began their musical journey with drummer Simon Werner, who joined after their first live performance. Bassist Ben Bays soon joined, and together they recorded their debut demo Moloch. Guitarist Torsten Horstmann replaced Nils Werner in 2008, and Daniel Dickmann became the new drummer in 2010. Their first full-length album, When All Life Endsâ¦, was released in 2011 via Cyclone Empire, with Simon Werner serving as producer. The band's sound was also compared to other notable acts such as This Ending, At the Gates, Amon Amarth, and Dark Tranquillity.
