Biography
Dead Posey, an American rock duo, was formed in Los Angeles, California in 2017 by lead singer Danyell Souza and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Tony Fagenson. The band began releasing music independently in 2016 and signed a publishing deal with Position Music soon after. In August 2018, Dead Posey signed to Sumerian Records and released their first EP Freak Show. This was followed by two more EPs: Malfunction (2020) and Malfunction x Broken Down (2020). Their debut album Are You in a Cult? was released on October 18, 2024. The band gained radio play with singles such as "Welcome to the Nightmare" and "Can't Take Me Down", which debuted on Kerrang! Radio's Fresh Blood. Dead Posey has performed at notable festivals including Download, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Shiprocked, and MadCool Festival summer 2024, and toured with bands such as Theory of a Deadman and Palaye Royale.
