Biography

Dayshell, an American post-hardcore band formed in 2012, originated from a solo project by Shayley Bourget. After departing from Of Mice & Men, Bourget released a demo version of "Share with Me" with Raul Martinez in March 2012, which garnered positive fan reactions. The band officially launched with the addition of Jordan Wooley and signed to Sumerian Records later that year. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2013, followed by extensive tours supporting bands like Middle Class Rut and Chevelle. In 2016, Dayshell transitioned to Spinefarm Records and released Nexus, featuring singles "Carsick" and "Low Light". The band continued with the release of Mr. Pain on October 29, 2019, which included the single "Pressure". Their latest album, Pegasus, was released on September 22, 2023.
